Elly Bovarnick

As a mixed media artist and textile designer, I find my inspiration in the rich tapestry of my identity, particularly my Jewish heritage. Pomegranates, symbolic of abundance and fertility in Judaism, often find their way into my work, adding layers of meaning and beauty.

Originally hailing from the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, my artistic journey took me across the Atlantic to Spain, where I immersed myself in the culture and completed a master's degree in textile design. The colors, textures, and traditions of Spain continue to influence my artistic vision, infusing my creations with a sense of passion and vitality.
I thrive on experimentation and exploration, constantly pushing the boundaries of traditional mediums. Rather than confining myself to one specific technique, I embrace the challenge of incorporating various materials and methods into my art. When embarking on a new project, I approach it with an open mind, allowing the concept to dictate the medium, rather than the other way around.
Color is my playground, and I delight in exploring the depths of color theory to create harmonious and captivating designs. Whether I'm working with paint, fabric, or found objects, color is always at the forefront of my creative process, breathing life and energy into my work.

I invite you to join me on this artistic journey, where every commission is an opportunity to challenge and inspire both of us. Do you have a vision that pushes the boundaries of creativity? Let's embark on an adventure together and create something truly extraordinary.
