Tallits
I started making tallits because I couldn't find one that suited my style. The dream was something large and impactful that wasn't a traditional men's tallit. Something colorful and fun that felt modern and Jewish at the same time. Since the beginning, I have been creating tallits that I would have wanted to have access to when I was getting Bat-Mitzvah'd.
Each tallit is a one-of-a-kind work of art. I start by hand illustrating the design, which I then turn in to a pattern repeat. The designs are custom printed on either cotton or silk. Both fabrics are soft to the touch and wear beautifully. I tie the tzitzit myself, often tying in the traditional Chabad style. It has extra loops on the side to resemble a friendship bracelet to represent how both we and the Divine wear tzitzit. Wearing the tallit is like sharing this friendship bracelet with the Divine.
